If you break the word down into hypno and therapy you can see that the hypnosis is only part of the session, therapy is the other part.  Only half of the session will be spent with you in hypnosis the other half will be based around CBT and person centred therapy.

What is Hypnotherapy

Some people have an image of hypnotherapy often seen on television where it is entertainment.  It also gives the impression that you are not in control of your own mind when under hypnosis but actually all of this has simply given hypnotherapy bad press and is not true.

In actual fact hypnotherapy accesses the sub conscious part of the mind that holds our beliefs and you take back that control by using hypnotherapy to change those
outmoded beliefs and negative thought patterns.

You will not actually be asleep during the hypnotherapy (another misconception) and you will still be aware of your surroundings, all the hypnotherapy does is move past that mental chatter part of the brain to access the subconscious mind
which will bring about profound and lasting change.

Each hypnosis script is recorded and emailed to you so you can listen to the
recording as many times as you wish to really help reinforce lasting change.

Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss

Weight loss can be an emotional journey so counselling will naturally accompany your weight loss journey. You will gain a complete shift in perception which will lead to your motivation being improved which will in turn bring about success with weight loss. Faddy diets simply do not work in the long term which is why hypnotherapy and counselling is so important in tackling the underlying causes of overeating.

Understanding you inner processes is key to weight loss and because everyone’s inner processes are different each client is treated individually.

Each client receives a recording of their hypnosis to listen to in between sessions and they have that useful tool to tap into as and when they need it for the rest of their lives. This helps to guarantee that success and maintain it.

Quit Smoking

I was once a smoker myself over 20years ago and decided one day I was not going to waste my money anymore. I was in my 20’s and it was a choice of either continuing with smoking or save my money for a holiday to Ibiza! Ibiza was the winner and within 12 months of giving up I detested it. I hated the smell, and was over the moon when it was finally banned in all public places because it meant I did not have to go home after a night out smelling of tobacco.
It was not easy but I did it with willpower alone. With the price of cigarettes today you could literally save hundreds/ thousands of pounds a year. You receive your own personal recording.

Fears and Phobias

Fears and phobias can often be linked to a past event that has emotion attached to it. They can also be learnt behaviours that we have picked up from others. Regardless of how they start hypnotherapy can help you overcome them so you can continue to live your life free of these fears that can affect your everyday life. I recommend anything from 3 to 4 sessions for fears and phobias. There are too many to list here but whatever your fear or phobia is you can overcome it.

Pain Relief

Our bodies are very clever in that they let us know when something is not right with our body by sending us pain signals to the brain so we know we need to check in on ourselves. Once you have been to see a doctor and ruled out any serious health conditions, you can manage your pain using hypnosis. You receive copies of your sessions so you can continue to use these hypnosis scripts as and when you need them.

Past Life Regression

Past life regression is a form of hypnotherapy that can heal and transform root causes of a physical, mental or emotional thought patterns.  You can access that deeper part of yourself to gain insight into those areas of your life that are causing you problems, be it career, relationships, life purpose etc. Past life regression is based on the belief of reincarnation and the theory that your soul evolves over many lifetimes and there is also another belief that past life regression holds Karma and your thoughts and actions impact your present and future. A third philosophy is that each of our cells in our body hold memories and those memories are passed down from one generation to the next. Past life regression therapy may not necessarily be tapping into past lives but may in fact be tapping into the knowledge that our cells hold and being aware of that knowledge means we can change our thought patterns to bring about healing at a deeper level.

Confidence and self esteem
