When we think of counselling or hypnotherapy we tend to visualise the client and the counsellor sat together in a room. However, with the growth of technology it is now possible to do not just counselling or hypnotherapy over the phone but online.
This holds many greater benefits as it is easier for those with small children, for those with mobility problems, for those living in isolated areas and also for those who work hours which mean it is more difficult for them to access counselling.
Some clients already have long commute times and accessing counselling and hypnotherapy online is an easier solution. Online counselling and hypnotherapy can be a really good alternative. I have been seeing clients this way, particularly for hypnotherapy for a couple of years now and due to the recent issues with Coronavirus I have seen many more clients access counselling and hypnotherapy through online.
There is evidence that shows online therapy has many benefits and it produces the same positive outcomes as face-to-face therapy. I have yet to treat a client over the phone or online for either Counselling or Hypnotherapy who is not fully satisfied with their experiences and it also means that I can work with anyone wherever they are located.
Even though I offer this service there is no difference in standards between face to face or online Counselling and Hypnotherapy. I am still bound by the National Counselling Society and the National Hypnotherapy Society code of ethics and as such I have regular supervision for both Counselling and Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy scripts are recorded and emailed to the client so they can listen to them in between sessions.
With online Counselling and hypnotherapy offering the same level of confidentiality and expertise as face to face counselling it can be hugely beneficial for many. Feel free to message me for more information.
